Inquisitor is a CMS purpose-built for investigative journalism and research. Unlike general CMS platforms, it's designed around the specific workflows of researchers building out complex stories: tracking sources, managing documents, and mapping relationships.
Key features include AI-powered document analysis that extracts entities, dates, and key claims from uploaded PDFs and documents. An integrated knowledge base allows researchers to link findings across multiple investigations. The relationship mapper provides a visual interface for building out networks of people, organizations, and events relevant to a story.
The platform is built on Cloudflare Workers with D1 for storage. Document processing pipelines use Cloudflare AI for entity extraction and summarization.
